A Note on "Free" Shipping

One of the questions we are most often asked is, "do you offer free shipping?" The short answer is: yes, on orders of $50 or more . The long answer is below!

 

Some big companies can offer "free" shipping because they ship thousands of orders per day, and they can negotiate very low rates with the carriers. As a small business, we just can't compete with the "big guys" on this one. Other companies just build the shipping costs into their product pricing.

 

We would love to offer "free shipping" on all orders, but then we would have to increase our prices.  We would rather keep our prices as low as possible and charge you the actual shipping rate we pay (we do add a small handling charge to cover boxes and packing supplies, but we don't make any money on shipping).

 

There are still a few ways you can save on shipping. If you place an order of $50 or more we will pay for the shipping (some customers get together with friends or co-workers and place a group order to get to the $50). 

 

We also occasionally offer free or reduced shipping coupons to our newsletter subscribers.
