Norfolk Tides announces new clear bag policy ahead of home opening

NORFOLK, Va. — Norfolk Tides has announced a new clear bag policy at Harbor Park.
Match participants must follow the requirements outlined in the guidelines for the upcoming season.
Approved bags:

Clear plastic, vinyl, or PVC bags must be no larger than 16" x 16" x 8"

Small, opaque clutch bags must be 5" x 7" with or without handles or straps. 3/4 inch or less

Diaper bags and medical bags

Branded clear tote bags with 1 logo (size must not exceed 5" x 5")

Clear, resealable 1-gallon storage bag
Unapproved Bags:

Backpacks
-
Shopping bags
-
Camera bags
- Or bags that do not meet the clear bag policy outlined above are not allowed for entry.
According to the team's Facebook page, new policies have been put in place to protect everyone at Harbor Park.

Most stadiums and arenas with a clear bag policy have a requirement for clear stadium bags or clear concert bags to be no larger than 12″ × 6″ × 12”. If a concert venue has a clear bag policy it is likely the same size requirements as a stadium with a clear bag policy. You can always check with the venue to see if they are more lenient but usually they are the same.
